Mission: Because I Said So, Inc mission is to provide life skills training that will positively impact the lives and futures of the young ladies in our community. We are a 501 (c) (3) non profit organization located 25 miles outside of Atlanta metro.
Goal: Our goal is to help build healthy self-esteem in teenage girls in a non-competitive environment. BISS will provide counseling, financial literacy and other outreach programs in an effort to combat teen pregnancy, illiteracy and increase awareness in our community.
Our program is an 8 month long commitment between the mentor and mentee. Every 3rd Saturday of the month, mentors and mentees spend 2 hours together, participating in fun and enriching activities.
We strive to:
- Improve the mentee's self worth
- Help them to make wise choices
- Understand the importance of getting their education
- Follow their path in destiny and purpose
